Show Families Why They Belong Here
A school story film that lets families feel what a day in your classrooms is really like, before they ever schedule a tour.
Families can't feel your school from a brochure.
Parents choosing a school are asking one question: will my child be known and cared for here? Test scores and tuition sheets can't answer it. Seeing a teacher kneel beside a student, hearing a parent describe the difference your school made, and watching kids laugh in chapel can.
A school story film lets families meet your community before they ever walk through the door.
The School Story Film
One film that shows who you are and why it matters.
Real moments. Authentic footage of classrooms, chapel, recess, and everyday school life.
Real voices. Teachers, parents, and students share what makes your school different.
Your mission, clearly told. Not just what you do, but why it matters.
Made to share. A main film plus short versions for social media and ads.
Built for your whole enrollment season
Your film works everywhere families are looking:
Your website homepage and admissions page
Facebook and Instagram, including ads
Open houses and school tours
Follow-up emails to interested families
Church services and congregation updates
Proven in real schools
Journeys Lutheran School, Hales Corners, WI
After a challenging flood, Journeys was reopening its doors. The film captured authentic moments, real smiles, and the mission-driven spirit of the school, highlighting not just what they do but why it matters: a Christ-centered education where every child is seen, supported, and ready to thrive.
Carlsbad Christian Academy, Carlsbad, CA
CCA's film premiered at its annual gala, then went on its website and social platforms to keep telling the school's story.
"We really appreciated John's work with our school. He was able to take his experience and vision and mold it with what we were looking for and create an incredible promotional video for our school. John is a great communicator and very professional. Would highly recommend!"
Dave Roekle
Principal, Carlsbad Christian Academy
Why a principal makes your school story film
I'm a Christian school principal, so I know what families ask on a tour and what makes them choose a school. I plan every film around the moments that answer those questions.
I grew up in a pastor's family, so telling ministry stories with care and integrity matters to me. Your students and staff will be in good hands on camera.

Questions
When should we reach out?
Before your enrollment season begins. Filming works best while school is in session, so the film is ready when families start looking.
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in the Fox Valley of Wisconsin and have filmed for schools in Wisconsin, California, and Utah. Travel costs depend on location, transportation, and whether hotel stays are needed, and they're spelled out in your quote.
How much staff time does this take?
About an hour for planning, plus helping coordinate interviews. I handle the rest.
Who appears on camera?
Usually your principal, plus a handful of teachers, parents, and students. You'll decide who's included, following your school's photo and video permissions.
Can we use the film anywhere?
Yes, anywhere you'd like: your website, social media, ads, open houses, and church.
